Back by popular demand and following the success of the last Junior Ninja competition at Ultimate Ninja Colchester we are proud to host another one at Obstacle Training Ground. This will comprise of a two stage competition with a surprise aimed at junior male and female ninjas between 5 - 17 years old. If the junior ninja feels confident they can compete with the adults then they must seek permission to do so from the event organisers by emailing [email protected]

Some points to note for the event:

1. Parents must be present with junior ninjas at all times as no responsibility can be accepted.
2. Parents should be aware that ninja competitions carry a risk of injury and must make sure their child is physically able to undergo the challenges of the obstacles at Obstacle Training Ground. 
3. Podium prizes will be awarded to the top junior ninjas. Age categories may vary depending on numbers on the day. 
4. The course will be designed and run by National Ninja Champion, Tommy Matthews. In true ninja style the course structure will not be released until the day of the competition
5. The first stage will be a speed competition with three lives followed by the second stage which will be a challenge round. There may be an additional surprise round
6. Similar to the running format for last year, the Junior Ninjas will start first followed by the Adult Ninjas. This ensures that everyone has the opportunity to support their fellow ninjas
7. There are changing rooms and toilets on-site but you will need to bring your own refreshments
8. All parents must sign a waiver on behalf of their child via this link
9. As the venue is an outdoor course, ninjas must be prepared for fluctuations in the weather
10. Parents must ensure they arrive with their child at 10:30am for registration so that the competition can start promptly at 11am for the course briefing
11. The competition will be run in accordance with ninja sport rules as set out in the Athlete Rulebook approved by the British Obstacle Sports Ninja Technical Committee
